Stellar Flare Event Guide

Gameplay Overview

Event Gameplay Duration:
➥ 2023/06/28 10:00 (Server Time) – 2023/07/10 03:59 (Server Time)

Eligibility:
➥ Trailblaze Level ≥ 21

Event Overview:
➥ During the event, new stages will become available on a daily basis starting on the first day of the event, with a total of 8 stages and 3 difficulty levels per stage: Dwarf Star / Giant Star / Supergiant Star.
➥ Enemy strength and game modes will differ based on the difficulty level. You can challenge the Giant Star difficulty straight away, and the Supergiant Star difficulty will be unlocked after completing the Giant Star difficulty.
➥ The levels of enemies and trial characters will be determined by your Equilibrium Level when first entering the event. Enemy and trial character levels will remain unchanged even if your Equilibrium Level increases during the event period.
➥ Collect rewards from the event page after completing the challenge. Completing a challenge at a higher difficulty earns you lower-difficulty rewards as well.
➥ When attempting the Supergiant Star difficulty, you can collect rewards after defeating the third and sixth waves of enemies. No need to defeat the entire challenge to get all rewards.

Gameplay Details

1) How to Complete the Challenge

Once the round hits 0, the challenge will automatically end.

➥ Defeat enemies within a specified number of rounds to complete the Stellar Flare challenge. Before the start of each battle, your HP, Skill Points, and Energy will be restored to a specified amount. One new challenge will be unlocked per day starting from the first day of the event.

2) Difference of Each Challenge

Each stage has different buffs, enemies, and trial characters.

➥ Every stage will provide unique and significant buffs to all allies, as well as changes to enemies’ Toughness and Weakness. Utilize these buffs and enemy traits to greatly increase combat ability and efficiency in the stage. There will be one Trial character you can bring along (different Trial characters per challenge), which is highly recommended since it synergized with the buffs of each stage.

3) The Supergiant Star Difficulty

Complete the Giant Star difficulty to unlock Supergiant Star and get more rewards!

➥ After completing challenges in the Giant Star difficulty, the Supergiant Star difficulty will be unlocked. In the Supergiant Star difficulty, you will face 9 waves of enemies, and the enemies will become stronger every 3 waves. You can claim rewards separately after eliminating the third and sixth waves of enemies.
➥ In other words, you don’t have to complete all 9 waves to get all rewards. Instead, you only need to complete 6 waves and be done with the challenges as the rewards stop there.

Challenge Guides

~ This section covers the Supergiant Star’s difficulty to get all rewards ~

1) Take Their Lives While They’re Sick

You can see the debuff and stack on enemies during battle.

Buffs:

● When an ally inflicts Weakness Break on any enemy target, fully regenerate the ally’s Energy immediately. After an ally uses their Ultimate to attack an enemy, DMG dealt to this enemy increases by 60%. This effect can stack up to 5 times.
● It does NOT matter who uses the Ultimate on an enemy to inflict and STACK the Debuff. For example, if your Pela and Arlan both hit the enemies using Ultimate, the enemy will gain 1 stack each that can be stacked = 2 stacks of debuffs.

Arlan + Tingyun + Jing Yuan + (Preservation/Abundace)

Team Recommendation:

● Add Trial Arlan (or your own Arlan) to the team. Then, the enemies are full of Lightning weakness so you know to bring at least one Lightning Erudition to the team (Jing Yuan or Serval). Tingyun is next to increase your Arlan or Jing Yuan’s ATK and DMG. This way, your DPS can deplete the enemies’ HP super fast, if not one-shot them using the stage’s maximum buff.
● The last character can be [Flex] or a Preservation character. This is because Arlan consumes his own HP when using his skill. It’s better to have a shielder so they can either provide a shield to Arlan (heal him if you bring a healer) or be the one to soak all the damage from enemies.

Team Example:

1) Arlan + Tingyun + Jing Yuan + Gepard
2) Jing Yuan + Serval + Tingyun + March 7th
3) Serval + Asta + Pela + Natasha

Recommended Rotation:

Tingyun’s Ultimate on Arlan > Arlan’s Skill on the left enemy + Ultimate on the right enemy + Ultimate on the middle enemy x2 > Tingyun’s Skill on Arlan/Jing Yuan > Jing Yuan’s Ultimate x2/x3 + Skill > Gepard’s Ultimate > Use anyone’s Skill to attack the elite enemy.

Tips:

1) In every wave, use Arlan’s Skill on the left OR right enemies (definitely not in the middle one) to inflict a Weakness Break. Then, you will get Energy to do his Ultimate, use this Ultimate on the opposite side (if you choose to use Skill on the most left side enemy, then use Ultimate on the most right side). This way, he will get 2 Ultimate in a row. Please refer to my video above at 0:40 if you’re still confused.
2) In the elite enemy waves on 3/6/9, the big boss loves to summon Automaton Spiders. Focus on defeating these spiders first because once it’s defeated, they will explode, dealing Fire damage to enemies adjacent to it (which can also trigger Weakness Break).
3) During the challenge (if you want Total Break), try to not go below 2 Rounds before you enter the last wave. This is possible if you keep Weakness Break-ing in each wave. As you see in the video above, Trial Arlan is enough to destroy the mobs each wave with Tingyun’s support (an unbuilt Tingyun I must say).
4) In addition, try to fill your Skill Points with Basic Attacks from any character on mobs before you go to meet the boss (on wave 3/6/9) so you can use Tingyun’s Skill or Jing Yuan’s Skill while also saving some for Arlan.

2) Septenary Woe, Annihilation

You can see my Silver Wolf with the stage’s 8 stacks of ATK Boost

Buffs:

● When an ally uses their Skill or Ultimate, if their current HP is above 50% of their Max HP, consume HP equal to 30% of their Max HP to guarantee a Crit Hit for the next attack, and increases all allies’ ATK by 50% for 2 turns. This effect can stack up to 8 times.
● Remember the word Skill and Ultimate! These two types of attacks will provide buffs to your whole team, and it doesn’t matter who uses it, as long as their HP is above 50%. The duration of the buff shouldn’t be a concern because you will use Skill and Ultimate constantly, refreshing the buffs every time, so the buffs would stay at maximum stacks for the whole battle.

Luocha + (Hunt) + (Nihility) + (Harmony)

Team Recommendation:

Welt and Yukong have a special mention here because of their elements, however, I don’t have both of them so I can’t really point out their pros and cons for the stage.
● For my team, I use Trial Luocha for his top-notch healing, Seele as DPS, Silver Wolf, and Tingyun as supports that will buff allies and debuff enemies. You might think to add Jing Yuan to the team because of the Weakness of the bosses, and I’d try that, but you might not get Total Break with him because of the lack of rounds (Since his Lightning-Lord would attack the next round instead of the round Jing Yuan is using his skill).

Team Example:

1) Luocha + Seele + Silver Wolf + Yukong
2) Luocha + Welt + Yukong + Jing Yuan
3) Luocha + Jing Yuan + Asta + Pela

Recommended Rotation:

Luocha’s Ultimate > Silver Wolf’s Ultimate on any enemy > Tingyun’s Ultimate on Seele > Seele’s Skill + Ultimate on debuffed enemy > Tingyun Skill on Seele > Silver Wolf’s Skill on any enemy > Seele’s Skill + Ultimate on debuffed enemy > Repeat any Skills/Ultimates that were possible.

Tips:

1) If your team was built properly, health shouldn’t be an issue with Luocha here because of his exceptional healing. You should focus on making your DPS stronger by stacking buffs and debuffing enemies with Nihility characters.
2) It’s best if you save your Ultimates for during the boss waves on wave 3/6/9 so you can inflict Weakness Break, buffs, and debuffs at the right time to make the challenge easier and save the rounds.
3) This depends on the team, but try to enter the last wave with at least 2 Rounds remaining since the HP for the last bosses is quite high (which is why I didn’t use Jing Yuan).

3) Contagious Psych Bomb

You can see the debuff on enemies’ details

Buffs:

● When an ally inflicts Weakness Break on any enemy, reduce all enemies’ Toughness to 0 and apply the same type of Weakness Break on them as that on the initial Weakness Broken enemy. After a Weakness Broken enemy is attacked, DMG dealt to it increases by 40%. This effect can stack up to 12 times.
● In this round, you play around with the Weakness Break to inflict debuff on enemies (and also Himeko’s Talent). Breaking 1 enemy’s Toughness bar is the same as breaking every enemy’s Toughness bar, which indirectly triggers Himeko’s talent that needs 3 Charges to start her Victory Rush. Each time an enemy was attacked after they had a Weakness Break, they will get 1 Vulnerability debuff (which can be seen in the image above).

Himeko + Jing Yuan + Asta + Luocha

Team Recommendation:

Himeko is the star of this stage so bring the Trial Himeko to the team (or your own Himeko if you have her). The second character can either be Hunt or another Erudition character, but I decide to bring Erudition (Jing Yuan) because the elite enemies like to summon more mobs, so having more AoE attacks is preferred.
● The third slot is recommended for Asta so she can bring more speed to the team and ATK bonuses. Lastly is a healer or shielder to make sure your character won’t fall down when the elite enemies do their Pierce Attacks (Luocha is extremely recommended here since his Ultimate can instantly inflict Weakness Break on one of the summoned mobs).

Team Example:

1) Himeko + Jing Yuan + Asta + Luocha
2) Himeko + Seele + Tingyun + Natasha
3) Himeko + Herta + Pela + Gepard

Recommended Rotation:

Himeko’s Ultimate + Skill on any elite enemy > Asta’s Ultimate + Skill > Jing Yuan’s Ultimate + Skill > (At this point the elite enemy has summoned new Soldiers) Luocha’s Ultimate > Repeat any Skills/Ultimates that were possible.

Tips:

1) In most mob waves, use Himeko’s Skill on an enemy that has Fire Weakness to trigger the stage buff. This way, she will instantly use her Talent Victory Rush and defeat almost all enemies. If there are any mobs that are still alive, use other characters’ Normal Attack to gather Skill Points for the elite waves.
2) On elite waves (waves 3/6/9), use Himeko’s Skill & Ultimate to trigger Fire Weakness Break, then wait until the bosses regain their bearing back to summon more mobs so you have more element options to Weakness Break.
3) When there are many mobs (and the elite enemy is in Counter Mode), use any Ultimate (either Jing Yuan or Luocha) to trigger another Weakness Break and trigger Himeko’s Victory Rush. Lastly, don’t forget to use Asta’s Skill to gain stacks of Charging to increase the team’s ATK whenever possible. All of this can be seen in my video above.

4) Limited Firepower

Qingque can easily refresh the stage buff on herself

Buffs:

● Using a Skill does not consume Skill Points. When using a Skill or an Ultimate on allies, additionally increase the target ally’s Crit Rate by 20% and Crit DMG by 60% for 2 turns. This effect can stack up to 2 times.
● Not having to consume Skill Points is such a blessing in this stage especially for Qingque since she needs to use Skills multiple times to make sure she can get her Enhanced Attack. The bonus Crit Rate and Crit DMG is the biggest cherries on top.
● Remember that Qingque can self-buff with this stage bonus: Each time she uses her Skill, she will gain 1 stack of Crit Rate and Crit DMG. The same can occur if you bring a healer and use their Skill or Ultimate on your team (Except Luocha’s Ultimate since his Ultimate hit enemies instead of your allies).

Qingque + Seele + Pela + Natasha

Team Recommendation:

Trial Qingque is extremely recommended in this stage not only because she can self-buff from the stage bonuses, but also because each wave has at least 3 enemies. With her Skill and Ultimate, it’ll be easy for you to get through basically every wave.
● The next spot is another DPS character you can rely on, which I choose Seele because of her extra turn (and also a single-target DPS that can focus on the elite enemies). The third slot is for Pela for her DEF reduction debuff for enemies in addition to her instant Ice Weakness Break (by using Ultimate) for mobs during the elite waves (waves 3/6/9).
● The last character is recommended for Natasha or Bailu as the healer. These 2 are more suited for this stage compared to Luocha because both their Skill and Ultimate can heal the team = giving the Crit Rate and Crit DMG stage buffs, unlike Luocha’s Ultimate which attacks the enemies.

➥ Team Examples:

1) Qingque + Seele + Pela + Natasha
2) Qingque + Tingyun + Pela + Natasha
3) Seele + Silver Wolf + Pela + Natasha

Recommended Rotation:

Natasha’s Ultimate > Pela’s Ultimate > Seele’s Ultimate + Skill on elite enemy > Qingque’s Skill until she get Enhanced Attack + Ultimate + Basic Attack > Natasha’s Skill on Seele > Repeat any Skills/Ultimates that were possible.

Tips:

1) In most mob waves, Qingque’s Enhanced Attacks are usually enough to destroy all enemies (with maximum stacks of stage buffs). But try not to kill the enemies too fast so your other characters can use their Skills to get Energy for their Ultimate.
2) It’s best if you can get Pela’s Ultimate right before the elite enemy attacks you on elite waves (waves 3/6/9) so that the 2 Silvermane Soldiers will get an Ice Weakness Break.
3) Whenever it’s your healer’s turn, make sure to use their Skill on the 2nd DPS aside Qingque (in my case, it’s Seele). This is because Seele doesn’t have the ability to self-buff like Qingque, so she needs to rely on your healer to get her the stage buff. It doesn’t matter if your 2nd DPS is in full-health or not, just use the healing on them so they can get the Crit Rate and Crit DMG buffs.
4) If you’re using the same team as me, here’s the best rotation I could get: Natasha’s Ultimate > Pela’s Ultimate > Seele’s Ultimate + Skill > Qingque’s Ultimate + Enhanced Attacks (Can be seen in my video at 4:00). Of course, it won’t go the exact same way as my team is since we need to take Energy for Ultimate and either Crit Hit occurs or not into the calculation.
5) The elite enemy here has the Counter Skill, and while you can avoid taking the Pierce Counterattack DMG by focusing on the mobs, I don’t really recommend it since we’re short on turns. In fact, I recommend your (full-health) Pela to take the short end of the stick and attack the Counter-state elite enemy with her Skill to trigger the counterattack so your other DPS can deal more DMG once the Counter state is gone.
6) Another important note if you want to get Total Break for this stage, ignore the 2 Soldiers that the elite enemy summons and focus on the elite enemy. Once the big boss is down, the summoned one will be counted as defeated as well.

5) It’s My Turn

Maximum 300% DMG for Ultimate

Buffs:

● After an ally uses their Skill, they immediately gain 1 extra turn. The next time they use their Ultimate, the DMG dealt increases by 100%. This effect can stack up to 3 times.
● In other words, try to make your character uses their Skill 3 times before using Ultimate so they can get that juicy 300% extra DMG. You can see how many stacks there are on each character from the icon under your HP bar.

Arlan + Tingyun + Pela + Luocha

Team Recommendation:

● You might think it’s Welt time to shine in this stage since they give us Trial Welt, but that’s far from the truth. The two MVPs for this stage are Arlan and Sushang.
● For some reason, whenever Arlan uses his Skill in this stage, it does not consume any Skill Points, making it his turn infinitely (unless you use his Basic Attack).
● Meanwhile for Sushang, she can also take advantage of the stage buff but only if she is E1. Her first Eidolon, ‘Cut With Ease,’ let her regenerate 1 Skill Point after using a Skill against a Weakness Broken enemy. So it’s pretty similar to Arlan, where you will gain infinite turns for Sushang. If you have either of these two, then it’s perfect stage for them.
● The next slot would be the normal Harmony, Nihility, and Abundance characters. I recommend Tingyun for ATK boost, Pela for DEF debuff, and Luocha for healing.

Team Examples:

1) Arlan + Tingyun + Pela + Luocha
2) Sushang + Tingyun + Pela + Luocha
3) Welt + Jing Yuan + Pela + Luocha

Recommended Rotation:

Pela’s Ultimate > Tingyun’s Ultimate + Skill on Arlan > Luocha’s Ultimate > Spam Arlan’s Skill and Ultimate until the end of the waves.

Tips:

1) If you bring along either Arlan or E1 Sushang, there is nothing much I can guide since those two have infinite Turns if you use their Skills.
2) But here are some basic tips, whenever you’re in elite waves (waves 3/6/9) make sure to use Pela’s Ultimate + Tingyun’s Ultimate on your Arlan/Sushang before spamming your Arlan/Sushang’s Skills.
3) The enemies also don’t have any dangerous special skills, so the only thing you need to note is their ridiculously high HP.

6) More Than Ice and Fire

Buffs:

● All allies’ Break Effect increases by 100%. When an ally inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy, triggers all debuffs and DoTs that would have been inflicted if all the enemy’s Type Weaknesses were Broken. When allies use a Skill, all DoTs currently applied to the attacked enemy will immediately deal DMG equal to 100% of the original DMG.
● In other words, if you inflict a Weakness Break on an enemy, they will get ALL debuffs that are available in the game: Slow, Imprisonment, Entanglement, Shock, Burn, Bleed, Wind Shear, and Frozen. Then, if your character uses a Skill on these debuff-afflicted enemies, the DoT (Damage over Time) will deal extra damage.

Serval + Herta + Jing Yuan + Pela

Team Recommendation:

● In this stage, what you need isn’t damage, but the ability to inflict Weakness Break on all enemies. Thus, having Erudition characters in the team would be the best.
Trial Serval is one of the best candidates for the team so let her in. Then, if you have Jing Yuan, he’s another force to be reckoned with. These two alone are enough to get you to round 6 without any worries since all enemies have a Lightning weakness.
● The third character can be either Herta or Himeko as another Erudition character. The last character is recommended to be Pela for her AoE Ice Ultimate in addition to the DEF-reduction debuff.
● Healer or shielder is not really needed in the team for this stage since most enemies don’t have the time to attack you because they are busy being Weakness-Broken themselves.

Team Examples:

1) Serval + Herta + Jing Yuan + Pela
2) Serval + Himeko + Jing Yuan + Pela

Recommended Rotation:

Pela’s Ultimate > Serval’s Ultimate > Jing Yuan’s Ultimate > Herta’s Ultimate > Use any AoE Skills available.

Tips:

1) If your team has Herta instead of Himeko, on mob waves that have 4 enemies instead of 3, use Serval’s Skill on the middle Frostspawn/Everwinter Shadewalker. They will die in an instant, leaving only 1 Flamespawn left (not for Shadewalker though, as they have high HP). The remaining one will have an easier time being Weakness Broken by both Herta and Pela’s attacks since they have Ice weakness.
2) Vice versa if Himeko is on your team. Use Serval’s Skill on the middle Flamespawn/Incineration Shadewalker so the remaining enemies that weren’t Weakness Broken yet are Frostspawn/Shadewalker that has Fire weakness and Himeko can take care of it.

7) FeLiNa

Buffs:

● All allies’ Energy Regeneration Rate increases by 50%. After an ally uses their Ultimate, all allies regenerate 10 Energy, as well as increase Crit Rate by 5% and Crit DMG by 15% for 2 turns. This effect can stack up to 10 times.
● In this stage, you can use your Ultimate much more easily because of the Energy Regeneration bonus from the stage. In addition, each time any of your characters use an Ultimate, all other teammates will gain another 10 Energy, so timing is a bit more important here. Aside from the 10 Energy, every character in the team will also gain Crit Rate and Crit DMG buffs that can be stacked. So make sure to use your Ultimate whenever possible to refresh these buffs.

Seele + Jing Yuan + Tingyun + Luocha

Team Recommendation:

● Annoyingly, the weaknesses of the mobs and the elite enemy are different so you need to diverse your team a bit more. I suggest a Hunt character like Seele for single-target DPS because the elite enemy has such a huge HP other classes may have a hard time defeating it. Of course, Trial Tingyun is added to add buffs to the said Hunt character.
● The third character can be an Erudition (Jing Yuan) or Destruction (Physical MC/Clara) character to take care of the mobs with their AoE or blast attacks.
● The last one can be any Abundance or Preservation character to make sure your character will stay alive. Preferably, the one with the lowest Energy required to use Ultimate so they can consistently use it and provide shields/heal allies while also refreshing the Crit Rate and Crit DMG buffs.

Team Examples:

1) Seele + Jing Yuan + Tingyun + Luocha
2) Seele + Serval + Tingyun + Natasha
3) Yanqing + Jing Yuan + Tingyun + Natasha

Recommended Rotation:

Seele’s Ultimate (So it can be refreshed again by other’s Ultimates) > Tingyun’s Ultimate + Skill on Seele > Jing Yuan’s Ultimate > Luocha’s Ultimate > Seele’s Ultimate (Depending on your build, you may need to use a Skill first before you can use her Ultimate) > Spam every Burst you have, but make sure to keep buffing Seele using Tingyun.

Tips:

1) At first during the mob waves, your characters might not be able to one-shot the enemies. But once you charge any Ultimate, use it to start stacking the Crit Rate and Crit DMG buffs. Once you get the maximum stacks, your Hunt character should be able to one-shot the mob even with Basic Attacks. Don’t forget to save some Skill Points for the elite waves (waves 3/6/9).
2) None of the mobs have any notable skills at all, so you don’t really have anything to worry about when facing them. The elite enemy, however, has a skill called Wind-Twisting Crossbow that locks on to all targets that are inflicted with Wind Shear, and cast Windfall Storm (quite a lot of Wind DMG) in the next action. You can remove this lock-on attack by cleansing the Wind Shear debuff on the said character using Luocha/Natasha’s Skill. It’s not really a threat if the locked-on characters have full HP as it’s quite survivable.

8) Comatose for but a Second

Enemies will instantly recover from Weakness Break

Buffs:

● All allies’ Break Effect increases by 100%. When an ally inflicts Weakness Break on any enemy, the enemy’s Toughness immediately regenerates to its maximum value. When an enemy’s Weakness is Broken, all DoTs currently applied to this enemy immediately deal DMG equal to 80% of the original DMG.
● The last stage is yet another one where you depend more on the capability to deal Weakness Breaks than raw damage. Sampo is great for this job especially his Ultimate which increases the target’s DoT DMG taken. Since there is a Break Effect buff, you can inflict Weakness Break much more easily compared to other battles, indirectly triggering the second buff of the stage = bonus damage from the DoT. You can increase the bonus DoT damage by increasing your allies’ ATK using Harmony characters since the DoT is based on the original DMG dealt by your character (tested with Danheng alone vs Danheng buffed by Tingyun).

Sampo + Dan Heng + Tingyun + Jing Yuan

Team Recommendation:

  • As mentioned before, Sampo’s Ultimate is great for this stage so Trial Sampo is a great start to the team. The next one is Dan Heng as the single target DPS since there is only 2 elite enemy in the elite waves so a single-target DPS is better than Erudition.
  • Tingyun occupies the third slot because of her usual buffs. Asta can replace her, but I like Tingyun’s kit better so of course I recommend her first. The last slot can be [Flex] character because this stage is not that hard. You can add Preservation/Abundance character to keep your team alive, or you can add an Erudition character (Jing Yuan/Serval/Himeko) since the elite enemy has Lightning/Fire Weakness too.

Team Examples:

  • Sampo + Dan Heng + Tingyun + Jing Yuan
  • Sampo + Himeko + Tingyun + Natasha
  • Sampo + Dan Heng + Tingyun + Himeko

Recommended Rotation:

  • Sampo’s Ultimate + Skill > Tingyun’s Ultimate + Skill on Dan Heng > Dan Heng’s Ultimate + Skill > Jing Yuan’s Ultimate + Skill > Repeat whatever Ultimate/Skill possible in order.

Tips:

  1. The mob waves are very weak here (deal little damage but are great in number: 3 enemies per wave) so you should save up Skill Points and fill the Ultimate bar for the elite waves later (waves 3/6/9).
  2. The elite waves on the other hand, while there are only 2 elite enemies, their single-attack damage hurts quite a bit so hopefully they don’t attack the same characters multiple times in a row (especially if you don’t bring any healer or shielder). There’s also their Ultimate attack where you can see clock hands behind their back, but this is not a problem at all because you can cancel it by triggering Weakness Break, which in this stage will be much easy for you to do since we have the Break Effect +100% bonus.
