Seele Guide

Role: Quantum DPS

Recommended Skill Level Priority: Ultimate → Talent → Skill → Basic ATK

Introduction

Seele is an outstanding (Broken even) DPS unit with the ability to cycle multiple attacks in one turn if she is used optimally. Her kit consists of SPD boost, Action advance on skill (kill) and on basic attack; Quantum RES PEN and extra DMG when Resurgence (talent) is active.

Skills

Basic: Nothing much to talk about here Seele has the same normal attack as most other characters do, and ideally in a hyper-carry team for Seele you ideally do not want to be using her basic attack.

Skill: In a hyper-carry team composition for Seele you will want to be using this skill every chance you get. As it provides a 25% SPD buff and generates 30 energy to ensure you are able to use Seele’s Ultimate as soon as possible. The SPD buff provided by this skill allows you to go for ATK main stat boots if you are not running “In The Night”.

Ultimate: This is Seele’s heavy-hitting skill and automatically triggers buffed state on use. The buffed state ties in heavily to Seele’s Talent so it will be explained more in detail there. An important thing to note about this skill is that it is able to trigger its own unique instance of Resurgence, allowing you to stack 2 Resurgences together (More about this will be explained in the combo section).

Talent: An absolutely broken skill that provides a plethora of buffs such as DMG%, Quantum RES PEN (Unlock Lacerate Trace), and extra turns (Resurgence). Seele’s gameplay revolves around this skill so it is extremely important you do not ignore leveling it up. Keep in mind that you are unable to trigger a new Resurgence instance if it is currently active.

Technique: Seele enters stealth mode where she is unable to get targetted by enemies. Swapping to another character will cancel her technique without refunding points. When Seele attacks an enemy under stealth mode, she enters her buffed state (DMG boost from resurgence, no extra turn).

Combo

4-turn combo/Double Resurgence: An extremely powerful combo that enables Seele to deal with waves of enemies and maximize the buff timers. In order to execute this combo there are a few conditions that need to be met. First and foremost there has to be more than 1 enemy in order to pull off this combo. Next, it requires you to have enough energy to cast an Ultimate after casting your Skill/Basic Attack, this ensures you are able to chain both actions together. Now you need to ensure that you are able to defeat the enemy with either your Skill/Basic Attack cast to ensure you will be able to proc 2 Resurgence. Lastly, while this is not a hard requirement you will ideally have at least 3 skill points to maximize the damage dealt by this combo.

The video above showcases how to perform a Double Resurgence combo, it is important to note that both Resurgence procs happen AFTER the ultimate and not before, this is to maximize the energy generation for your Ultimate. Now on to how to perform the combo, first we want to start by applying damage buffs to Seele while this step is technically optional we want to ensure we are able to finish off enemies during the combo. Next, we want to ensure that our first attack is able to defeat the enemy doing so will trigger our first resurgence, during this, you will want to activate your ultimate before the animation of Seele’s skill ends or spam the Ultimate button if you currently do not have it available. The Ultimate has to defeat another enemy to proc your second Resurgence If done correctly you should have 2 Resurgence procs lined up.

If this combo is not performed correctly then the result would be something similar to the video above. This is bad since the first resurgence proc is used before the Ultimate, meaning we lose out on at least 30 energy generation.

Note: If you are having issues timing your ultimate before your Resurgence proc, we recommend playing without fast-forward.

Relic Set

Set: Genius of Brilliant Stars
Body: Crit Rate or Crit DMG
Boots: ATK%

Preferred Sub-stats : CRIT DMG => CRIT RATE > ATK% > SPD
(If Light cone “In the Night" is equipped, SPD would > ATK% in sub stat priority)

Team Comps

Seele: DPS

Bronya: Skill point generator/Damage Buffer

Tingyun: Damage Buffer

Natasha/Bailu: Healer

The team recommended above is a premium hyper-carry team comp, that focuses purely on boosting Seele’s personal damage output. Tingyun is currently the best damage buffer available in the game, which means in most hyper-carry team comps Tingyun will be included. Bronya mainly serves as a Skill point generator as Seele uses a lot of skill points in order to spam her combo.

Seele: DPS

Natasha/Bailu: Healer

Fire MC: Tank/ Taunt

Serval: AoE

A Balanced team that focuses on both survivability and damage, whilst being F2P too, as all units are unlocked by naturally progressing through the game (Except Bailu and Seele). Serval can take kill or dwindle enemy units to killable HP, which would allow Seele to finish them off and proc her talent (Resurgence).

Eidolons

E1 = Extra damage when the enemy is below 80% HP via crit rate, rather straightforward.

E2 = Great DPS boost due to being able to take actions more often, Great Eidolon to have

E4 = This Eidolon is great for stages with minions/ Multiple enemy waves, the user WANTS to deal the last hit with Seele, which should not be a problem if the user can run her rotations optimally.

E6 =Her attack Rotations will most likely be different due to the nature of this Eidolon, Testing will be required before being able to confidently state what this Eidolon can do with optimal play. Although it will not negate her normal play style. It is a DPS gain to have in any scenario anyways.

After entering battle, increases the wearer's SPD by 8.0% and DMG by 12.0%. When the wearer takes DMG, this effect will disappear. This effect will resume after the end of the wearer's next turn.

In the Night: Seele’s signature light cone and her current BIS by a wide margin. For its first effect It provides a staggering 18% Crit Rate the best part of this is that it isn’t tied to a condition allowing it to be active for the entire fight. Its second effect increases the DMG dealt by both wearer’s Basic ATK and Skill while increasing Ultimate Crit DMG by 12% this effect can stack up to 6 times for every 10 SPD that exceeds 100.

If you happen to have this light cone then you may want to consider aiming for a few SPD sub-stats to reach the 160 requirement. Remember to factor in the SPD buff you gain from using your Skill as a 25% SPD buff is nothing to scoff at.

Cruising in the Stellar Sea: A F2P light cone that is available from the Herta Shop, it can easily be raised to Superimpose 5 which makes it a decent alternative if you do not have her Signature light cone. What makes this light cone stand out when used on Seele is its secondary effect which increases the wearer’s ATK by 40% when an enemy is defeated. This synergizes well with the Seele’s general playstyle of defeating smaller mobs to snowball into a Resurgence.

River Flows in Spring: Another F2P option that is available in the Light Cone Manifest Shop. While this light cone provides an overall strong effect it unfortunately has a condition tied to it, where if the wearer is attacked the buff disappears and will not be applied until the end of the user’s next turn.
