There are a total of 18 treasure chests in Scalegorge Waterscape. It is recommended to complete the new Trailblaze Mission in The Xianzhou Luofu first before start collecting the chests. Please remember that I did NOT include the treasure chests locked behind Missions! These chests are the open-world ones only.
Part 1 | 4 Treasure Chests
1. Teleport to Dragonvista Rain Hall space anchor (far east on the map) and head northwest towards the end of the road.
2. From the previous location, head back to the space anchor and now head south near the rock facing the sea.
3. Go back to the space anchor and walk east, you will see the treasure chest from afar near the water.
4. Continue east to fight the Warp Trotter. Make sure to focus on the Trotter first before other enemies. If the Trotter manages to run away, just re-log the game to spawn it back. Its weaknesses are Physical, Quantum, and Imaginary.
Part 2 | 9 Treasure Chests
5. Teleport to Ancient Sea Palace Ruins space anchor and right after you arrive, you can see a treasure chest in front of you.
6. Turn around 3 o’clock and go up the stairs heading east. The chest is behind a lamp before the second set of stairs.
7. Teleport back to the same space anchor as before and head south. Walk past the new puzzles and once you go down the stairs, turn left for the treasure chest.
8. From the previous location, continue following the path heading west before turning left towards the south. The chest is hidden a bit behind those huge broken pillars.
9. Teleport to Palace Ruin Depths space anchor and walk south down the small steps of stairs.
10. From the previous location, you should’ve seen the next treasure chest. Head east for a Formidable Foe challenge.
11. Go to another Formidable Foe challenge up north. This one is more challenging than before because of the huge HP pool.
12. Head back to the Ancient Sea Palace Ruins space anchor (by walking or teleporting, your choice), and head north for a treasure chest just beside the stairs.
13. From the previous location, walk back up the stairs and head east towards the last chest in part 2 (beside a fallen lamp).
Part 3 | 5 Treasure Chests
14. Teleport to Palace Ruin Depths space anchor and head northwest. Go past the Formidable Foe challenge (#15) to take the treasure chest in front of it first.
15. Now you can go complete the Formidable Foe challenge you walk past just now.
16. From the previous location, head downstairs toward the southwest. The treasure chest is beside the staircase.
17. Head west for the treasure chest near the Echo of War beside the staircase (or you can teleport there if you want).
18. Lastly, walk southwest past the purple-ish walkway with flowers to the last treasure chest (you can see it from afar).
